It would be awesome to get even more people down than we had last year, so don't forget to spread the word. Chances to win stuff for all abilities!
Also, it's obviously made even better when people come down to heckle and drink beer at the track side while the guys racing do their thing. The more the merrier.

Dumb question time...
Is the novice event open to those who don't have track accreditation?
Cheers
-
• #9
done that, how do I prove it though?
-
• #10
They give you a card after induction don't they?
-
• #11
not sure I ever got one
-
• #12

Does anyone know if HH is only a one stage induction/accreditation then?
I know Welwyn Garden City is at least a 4 stage accreditation process

Herne hill has three stages. Induction, Training Accreditation and Race Accreditation.
But that is for track league, etc.For club organised events such as this we can use our discretion, and have set induction as the minimum bar for the Go Race/Novice. But we reserve the right to tell people they can't race and/or pull people riding unsafely.

Does anyone have the details for the induction for the day before? I've seen there is a taster session Saturdays at 1300, are they just a on the day job?

If anyone could lead me a 54cm track bike with a gear ratio 52x15 I would race again...
-

I would offer my Umezawa but scared you'll crash it.. and its a 55.x tt
-
• #21
Yeah I've done my induction but didn't receive anything for it.
-
• #22
Do you know if the rental bikes will be available?
I also did the induction in 2013 but have no record of it, will that be accepted? -
• #23
Thanks, but I rather not used something so bling either!!
-
• #24
You'll need to bring your own bike as Herne Hill don't really allow people racing on their hire bikes.
As far as induction goes, if you've done it but not been on the track for a while I'd go for a refresher session (either another induction or the beginners session on Saturdays) to get back up to speed.
