I have no idea if we've actually bid or are just sounding out the possibilities but seeing as he cost what £13m and they want to double their money on a player that's costing them loads in wages and supposedly doesn't want to play in the championship you'd have thought they'd have taken a more pragmatic view...
Apart from putting him in my fantasy team and him flattering to deceive I'm wondering if he's much better than what we have and what extra dimension he would bring to the team/squad..

Supposedly we're in for Goetze for £20m and winajldum for £25m.
If we didn't want to pay £25m for berahino, why do Newcastle think we're going to pay the same for the erratic Dutch winger?
Would love Goetze, even though he hasn't progressed as much at Bayern as I thought he would, but if he had progressed, we wouldn't be in with a chance of signing him. Also don't believe we'll actually sign him.
