would be a straight frame transplant.
I do really love my Felt. And am poor. So hopefully I can keep riding it without full-on-failiure-face-flame-Death.

The nice red Di2 frameset comes back in to stock later this month, giving you some time to save :)

I need to be able to get into a decent TT position and make use of my ENVE Extensions. They were eyewateringly expensive and I've chopped them Down to minimal length.
My Tritone saddle has long rails. Might be doable.
The setback on my felt seatpost is crazy. And europe Felt dont have the 5mm ones.
....need to look into this. Do some calcs.

I've been training my butt off to get the legs to justify a purchasing of an Aeroad. I'm close to my training goal so am now actually thinking of pulling the trigger.
I know canyon will be releasing their 2017 range in September/October. Do I wait until then and see? Or pull the trigger now.
Am slightly worried they will increase prices due to Brexit and pound euro rates so am leaning towards getting it now. On the flip side, the new range might come out of the block with sram etap which would be awesome, so maybe I should wait. If i get it now I will go for ultegra di2 build and sell the groupset + wheels and order etap separately.
Thoughts?

It will still be a fast bike whenever you buy it.
If it's in stock now and you order it you will get 2 months of decent weather riding in before you would have even have ordered the new one - which probably won't arrive until January.. and then you'll have to look at it for another 3 months without riding it. Or worse, get impatient and fill your nice new bike up with road grit and salt. -

Good point, I didn't even consider about the looming winter.

U Di2 is a great groupset. Plus With a New Junction Box and battery. You can gain some of the benefits of the New DA Di2. Such as sequencial shifting.
That said. I'd be pissed if I bought one and it was in the sale a month later because the 2017s came out. So would just wait.

• #1345
Buy it now, regret it later, plus once you finish the current components you can always upgrade later. Either with Etap or DA9100
-
• #1346
The new junction box will be backwards compatible with older groupsets?

I've been avoiding Reading up on this. Because I dont want to spend more on the road bike.
But from what I've accidentally read. The New flashy DA Di2 groupset coming out. Has clever shifting and is adjustable using an app on Your phone. Basically you can programme it to shift a single gir upwards or downwards With a single click. The brain in the system will then automatically shift the front when that time comes.
The Nice bit is that to get these New features. You dont need the New New groupset. Just the New battery and junctionbox.

I'd still be tempted to wait though.
Ride my old bike for a little longer, and save when its reduced in price.
But thats me.
-
• #1349
Will it be reduced though? I would have thought they will clear the stock they have now and not take any new orders on them. Looking at their site, the frameset is sold out in about half of the sizes with no option to order more. The full bikes are sold out on the teeny person sizes, so I reckon once they are gone they are gone and then its 2017 stuff.

3 months of riding a nice new bike > 10% saving
riding bikes > planning bike purchases on the internet
@Smallfurry yup, you should buy an XS Aeroad immediately. You'd do a good job building it too.
