I have an Ocean One Vintage Military as a 'beater'. Unfair classification as the quality is absolutely excellent. I've got a Tudor Heritage Ranger on my wrist right now and the truth is that I'm struggling to see where the extra money goes. The clasp on the Tudor bracelet is beautifully engineered - but apart from that there is little to separate the two watches in terms of quality, and the movement is identical.
The Steinhart is (in my opinion) the best bang for buck watch out there in its price bracket.
