• Anyone using TriRig Alpha?

Using with a Zipp stem (and assembly paste) that is rated for 4Nm and the basebars keep slipping.

Swap out the stem for something with a higher rating or increase the torque on the Zipp?

TriRig don't provide a recommended torque for the bars.

  • I do and mine doesn't slip so there's no way yours should. I've used it with a cheap PRO stem and spendy PRO stem and it's fine.

Their Sigma stem says: "Use 5-6 Nm of torque on the four M5 socket screws that tighten the handlebar clamp."

  • Their Sigma stem says: "Use 5-6 Nm of torque on the four M5 socket screws that tighten the handlebar clamp."

So you'd assume their bars would be able to take that, as they must be thinking they'd be people using them with their stem.

I think I'll swap-out the Zipp for a 3T that's rated for 5Nm: the Zipp has a narrow faceplate and the screws are very close together, whereas the 3T has a broader plate and screws spaced wider apart.
