  • Core vs Classic bib short sizing - are they roughly the same?

  • I've got to drop some coin with this 20% discount, currently in the southern hemisphere so it's winter, temps from -1, up to about 15 celcius, often wet.. my summer bibs aren't really enough. Do I go for Pro team thermal, 3/4 bibs or PT tights with pad?

  • Personally:

5-15: Thermal Shorts & Leg Warmers
    Below 5: Tights

  • I reckon so - I'm a medium in both bibs and in my experience they seem about the same size. Core marginally longer than Classics in the leg, but wider leg grippers make it possible to adjust if necessary.

  • cheers for the info

  • Anybody got codes they are not using?

  • I did the survey but I won't use the code. it's the same as others have posted upthread.

  • Thank you. Ordered now.

  • I just used the gift voucher that my kids gave me for Father's Day....good kids!
Coupled with the 20% code, I have picked up a couple of lovely new bidons that were nice, and not too pricey!
I had my last, manky, scuffed to buggery rapha bottle knicked from my bike....good luck to em, but seriously, I could only just about bring myself to drink from it....

  • Is there much of a difference between the first version of the Pro Team Soft Shell Jacket & the current version? Is it an improvement & if so how? More waterproof / more breathable ?
I have the first version & its great, I wonder why they needed to change it, are the improvements that radical :)

  • The newer generation is in a Polartec Powershield Pro; it's a higher performing membrane in terms of breathability, but forfeits slightly on stretch. The DWR will be more durable/effective because of less stretch. So yes, there is a difference, but (in my opinion) they are both great jackets - sorry if this isn't a definitive answer! • That's perfect šŸ‘Œ Thanks very much.

  • Not going to use my code because Rapha don't have what I want in stock (typical)

    Expires midnight tomorrow

  • Rapha repair service is awesome.

    That is all.

  • Went to buy a pt softshell with my discount. Out of stock. FML.

  • Shadow Blazer. The things you discover in Mondial.

  • shadow blazer :--D

  • there are loads of these, smoking skunk loitering on street corners

  • this new shoes, are they just a mixture of several giro shoes?

  • And is it OK to go clubbing in the blue suede ones?

  • @chh yes

    @epilepticfridgeboy yes

  • I heard Giro pulled the reflective Empires because the coating rubbed off pretty easily or something?

  • Unless they were only ever worn in perfect conditions I can't see it being very hard wearing or lasting very long.

  • I found last year's Team Pro jersey in my box of cycling clothes this morning.

I'd forgotten how sweet this jersey is.

10 miles into a long commute (bit of a detour to put in the miles) and this jersey still makes it feel like I'm super fresh and have only just jumped on the bike.

    It's superb.

May need to buy another one, but perhaps this time in some violent colour.
