Good idea. I had an 83 230E for a while and loved it. Thistle green with tan it was. Lovely. I cut the springs in half and it still rode all wafty and nice.

Thoroughly nice chap, magic is still shit unless you're under 11.

Quick search on gumtree reveals many engines and cars for cheap. A Toyota V8 is probably more efficient than the 2.3 too.

I'd have a saloon over a coupe, I had two e36 m3 evo coupes.
