I'm not sure, i know he did build a couple of frames for people doing a long distance tour at the beginning of the year, he normally runs a mobile bike mechanic service http://www.revolvemcr.com
i'll get some better photos of it loaded up with custom rear rack and gorilla cages if i can....

I guess to change the handling loaded/unloaded.... And quite possibly just because he could as an experiment...?
