    It be even more logical to have stock closer to production facilities, logistic hubs or larger retail locations instead of shipping it to UK and to customers in between. Unless there are extra QA inspections in the UK itself before shipping everything out. But that only applies to goods that would be shipped within the EU, can imagine this already applies to Americas, Asia Pacific/Middle Eastern online sales destinations.

    I suspect the continent hub being based somewhere in the Benelux tho. Amsterdam retail store would seem like a good base of operations. But it's small and not centrally located in a logistic point of view. (Not that stock should be kept in the same place as a retail store.) Antwerp (or Ghent) has more interesting opportunities, broader market offset and Belgium has overall better logistical environment.
