I see good deals for them popping up on ebay occasionally, have been tempted to pick one up so I don't have to bother swapping my crankset between my main bike and my sunday special bike. (Mega first world problems). But that would mean one would be p2m and the other quarq which is probably not very clever from a like for like figures point of view.

Quarq seems to be P2M but on SRAM. And more expensive.

I've had mine for a month now, and it replaced a P2M, and it hasn't missed a beat. Very easy to set up and the figures seem consistent and nearly identical with the P2M.

they do a shimano 4 bolt version though which is quite tempting for nice shifting of shimano rings...

I have a four bolt P2M, although they seem to have stopped making that now

Not a power meter but a near silent trainer that will do power measurement for something around £450. Very interesting as I live in a first floor flat and normal turbos (magnetic, fluid or fan) have all been too loud because the vibration is transmitted through the wheel to the floor. This one doesn't suffer from that.

First DC Rainmaker video I've watched. Can't help thinking of Kermit for some reason.

i'd like to have power measurements on my bikes but don't want to buy lots of different devices.
my day to day bike has a british bb, road bike is a cannondale with bb30.
am trying to work out if I should get the new DA cranks and just swap them between bikes and use the praxis adapters on the cannondale.
or get p2m and just have it on the cannondale but it gets a fraction of the useage
more sensibly still, wait for the ultegra power cranks - i'd guess they'll be out in another 6-12 months time anyway

Get the smallest axle standard you have as PM, hence DA, stages and P2M for Rotor 3D (not plus) would work. All of these will work fine with standard hollowtech BB and you'd need some sort of convertor for BB30. And obv SRM.
I've never spoken to anyone personally who's used one, but from reading various forums the feedback is generally good.
Reliable, good customer service, etc.
