Disc brakes, and their associated fancy new levers, and massive rear cassettes. Don't get me wrong, it's all interesting stuff, I just can't see it being much use for top level racers this is intended for.
Those same pros were using MTB rear deraillers to give them low enough gears to race up Zoncolan and similar in the Giro.
Disc brakes I'm still not sure about. I currently hate them but that's for other reasons.
