I agree with this totally.

I don't like what this referendum has made me feel like. I know it's the fault of successive UK governments failing to invest in homes, training, health, and society in general that has lead to ever growing inequality. Yet I feel angry with this group of people who have voted to leave, even though they will be far more affected by the economic fallout than I will, and want to just throw my hands up and say "you made your choice, live with it" even though I know that's not the best reaction in the long run.

I'm just tired, and disappointed, and very sad.

I'm with my parents now in an area that went 51-49 to leave, that 49% in the north west aren't in a liberal London bubble.

It's the idea I reject. Fully and totally. That the break-up of Europe, and the knock-on break-up of the United Kingdom, is in any way good for the economy or the people of this and other nations.

Bridge building is a wonderful thing to ask for, but the Leave camp have voted against the very principle of that.

EU Referendum Rules triggering a 2nd EU Referendum

We the undersigned call upon HM Government to implement a rule that if the remain or leave vote is less than 60% based a turnout less than 75% there should be another referendum.

Yes, sorry, I named London as it was the biggest distinction. As a trend, remain votes in England came from the metropolitan areas so it easy to view those outside those areas as leavers and consequently draw an artificial boundary between people.

17,410,742 are racist bigots
16,141,241 are not racist bigots

Around 30% of the country are undecided whether they are racist bigots or not.

Again, to those remain-ers persistently saying they are disappointed / scared of the future for a inward looking UK and the disappointment for the rise of bigotry means for humanity, please remember that is damaging. It is prejudiced to think that all leave-ers are racist, to think they are in effect 'enemies' to a liberal future makes you close minded in the London bubble. If you grow to fear that those living outside London as being phobic then you too have become part of the problem. If you want to 'jump ship' before your doomed future is realised then that will also contribute to any rise of the right as they will be less opposed. The problem is ignorance and eduction, welcome each other always and forgive those whose view does not include the whole of humanity. You have the power to help all by changing someone's opinion, by making someone humanist. This. It makes it very hard for me to remain pragmatic about all this. I'm finding it a struggle not to want to just lash out and throw my toys out the pram, when that's basically what 52% of the country have just done.

So many people doing just this. If i didn't care about the outcome i wouldn't have voted - of course we're going to be pissed off! The decent thing to do is not be a sore winner and just try a little quiet dignity out for a bit.

I've lived in Vienna, I've lived in The Netherlands, I've seen Germany, all those places are OK if the UK makes it so hard for people to work and they want STEM people that EVERYONE wants, why come here?
