Mud was ridiculous this year but still had an amazing time. Was very surprised with Coldplay and Adele.
Personal favourite: Craig Charles Funk & Soul @ Arcadia in the middle of the afternoon pissing it down. Great stuff.

Yeah, I was there as staff and haven't seen the site that wet day one in the best part of 15 years - got lucky the weekend the weather wasn't actually too bad. Saw LCD Soundsystem be very impressive Sunday night.

M83 were awesome.
Personal favourite, Fatboy Slim and 5,000 pill heads at John Peel stage. Say what you like about Norman Cook but he can bang a set out.

Didn't go, but watching that on iPlayer. Thought start was a bit ropey, but give it 10mins and very good.

• #371
Funnily enough we missed the first ten minutes

Was too rammo for me to get anywhere close. Getting through that john peel mud and pillheads was not amusing. We were leaving half way through to go and see something else.
Not sure I like the new spot of the john peel. It added a bit more camping in front of the banners and to the left of beat hotel, but it is quite the slog getting up to john peel, let alone around the back of it.

Considering you've listed three disparate acts covering a wide range of popular music, I'm not sure what your point is.
