  • We'll have to have a FULL BREXIT JIHAD.

  • Hm yes fair point

  • Or worse: A lot of EU ones now get UK passports and you'll never be rid of them 😀

  • I think anyone who doesn't read the Daily Express is a bit too foreign for some of these people.
If we have a full Brexit Jihad, the population of the UK could get reduced to the membership of just a handful of golf clubs.

  • Predictions?

    Remain 53%
    Leave 47%

  • Hardly worth calling a Torte without the Kirsch.

  • .. which critically-thinking could tempt one to question the timing of such an event - did the polls see-saw the other way after her murder?!

Thomas Mair, age 52, a constituent of Cox's[39] who had a history of psychiatric problems and links to the U.S.-based National Alliance, a neo-Nazi group,[40] was arrested in connection with her death shortly after the attack.[41][42] In a statement issued the day following the attack, West Yorkshire Police said that Cox was the victim of a "targeted attack" and that the suspect's links to far-right extremism were a "priority line of inquiry" in a search for a motive.[43] On 18 June, police announced that Mair had been charged with murder, grievous bodily harm, possession of a firearm with intent to commit an indictable offence and possession of an offensive weapon.[44] He appeared in Westminster Magistrates' Court later that day, and at the Old Bailey on 20 June.[45]

were one to be a conspiracy theorist or abstractly thinking, were you tasked with how to influence public opinion, would Jo Cox have been an ideal martyr?!

    .. anyway... Zz

  • I'm having a bit of an undecided moment and just wondering if the collected wisdom of forumengers can help me out here.

Is it OK to not vote in this election because I've got a cat sat on my lap? She's really happy and purring so I'm not sure if I'm even allowed to move her.

  • Nope. Ditch cat. Vote

  • The cat is for Remain. They demand freedom of movement.

  • is the media blackout today just for mainstream print and broadcast outlets

will we get arrested if we try and subvert the masses via facebook ?

  • I think you'll get arrested for posting the same question on 2 threads

  • i wanted to be 100% sure the thought police weren't gonna abseil down the front of my house and take me off for re education

  • voting done - such an archaic system; read name off list, cross it off, PENCIL on paper in "booth". Anyway, after all the shit slinging we'll be fine either way, bookies say we'll stay and they have the most to lose. Accuracy of polls is +/- 5% so still 50/50 but what margin allows for a recount?

Can we have a referendum on first past the post and the voting process ? The debates would actually be more interesting and valid and is far more necessary than playing hokey cokey

  • We had one just 5 years ago.

  • Don't forget to take your own pen into the booth. Pencil can be erased and your vote will be changed to suit the illuminati.

  • such an archaic system

    Diebold

  • Accuracy of polls is +/- 5%? Did you even general election bro? ;)

  • Can you use pen? I probably am making this up, but thought it had to be a pencil?

  • Remember, vote early and vote often.

  • Technically a fallacy: Appeal to personal I believe. Also some tories want remain...

But imho the arseholery percentage is skewed towards brexit ;)

  • I was in school then, and it was for AV instead - I meant a change to proportional representation as district vote dilution is what gets me riled up.

No exit poll today though so will be fun waking up tomorrow :) what has been interesting is the persistent lack of charisma on the remain side, given it is harder to make the status-quo engaging nobody rose to champion the cause, generally quite 'meh'. Can we all forget about this and go back to making Cameron pig jokes?
