There's an old trick used on the splines of motorcycle gearchangers etc. that might work. Obtain some sewing needles and loosen it all off and maybe even open it a bit more; then slide some needles into the gap between the "guts" and the stem's clamp then tighten up. The needles should gain some purchase somewhere and prevent further slippage. Once tightened you should be able to snap the protruding needle ends off with a pair of pliers.

Tx that may work :)
It's weird the guts are round enough but there's a gap. Bits of coke can seem to work a little but it's creaking like mad now O_o

The dérailleur just sits on it, I remember it had a spring but she lost it, I don't know what was holding it in place though.

E clip. Shimano refer to the equivalent part as a stop ring (item 3 on the linked pdf): http://si.shimano.com/php/download.php?file=pdf/ev/EV-RD-FT30-2400.pdf - might be interchangeable with the one that's missing.

You might be able to get a "C" clip to fit on it but I think there was something plastic a bit like the other end which was a push fit. I have a suitable derailleur in my garage/shed I can post you if you like. Edit: E clip sounds a better description.

If it looked like this before it might have just been the cover?

The way I was thinking was this style hanger going on first with the other bit bolted into it.

E Clip looks like the thing, there was a spring conical like one from a QR skewer, might be able to nick one from the box.

I only need one but I'm not sure which so for a fiver can't go wrong.
Cheers all.

It's not the same kind of spring as in a QR - it's a torsion spring you need, like the one in canti/V-brakes. It'd probably be worth harvesting bits from knackered old mechs in your LBS if you can.

Does anyone make merino t shirts with a pocket on the back - like Rapha used to make?
They are my go to garment for daily use and mine are all wearing out.

Leftover stuff from the jumble they had that I helped out at.

I'm working for them at a session in like 2 weeks so I'll go by the office sooner rather than later if it helps.

Is it just a case of drop in? If so what are the hours of opening?
-
• #77042
They had been trying to avoid that as it's the office and they still have work to do. Send you a pm.

I really rate my Toshiba Chromebook 2. Requires the use of Google Apps though. Android app support is coming later this year

I had some sort of Toshiba Notebook in the early 90s - I suspect the world has moved on since then!
By home use I meant used at home rather than at work or travelling. In this house it includes Office, Corel, and ePen (exam marking software) - that probably ties me to Windows?

I'm looking for a 135mm rear hub for single speed and disc brake.
Freehub should be obnoxiously loud.Hope Trials would be first choice but is way out of budget. Anything cheaper around?
Simplest solution would of course be to just use a "normal" 135mm 10spd freehub...

Maplins on the Strand at 125-130, or there's one on High Holborn if you're at the eastern fringe of the garden.
Have you managed to screw it in from the back?
