  • got to say, as much as it pains me, Rooney didn't have too bad a game. Vardy's not built for the group stages unless he's playing against a team who think they can give us a good shoeing, so we can play on the counter. Need to put in Stones instead of Cahill or Smalling, as they are pretty much the same player just with different skin tones, and when playing against a team that is dropping deep and conceding possession, you need a ball playing center half who can bring the ball upto the half way line and then find Dier, rather than the defensive dopplegangers getting scared when they tried to attempt a pass that wasn't square..

  • that's my point though, although Rooney had an Okay game. The entire formation is designed for him to have a good game, everyone else just dicks about out of position looking a bit lost.
