More Hackney bike shop news--I just spoke to the people now running a pop-up shop called The Cycling Store (until the end of August) at Fount London, off Westgate Street, E8 (opposite Netil Market). There doesn't seem to be a web-site, only an Instagram account: @thecyclingstore. They're stocking a couple of accessory brands, including Hackney St Cloud, Goodordering bags made by Hackney resident Jacqui Ma, as well as Copenhagen Bicycle Kompany bikes (which seem to be simple Danish sit-up-and-begs).
They're also going to run a weekly Saturday market called the Fount Market, starting this Saturday (18th June) which they very much want to be as cycling-themed as possible. A stall costs only £20, so if you'd like to exhibit your wares there or know someone who does, get in touch with them. There will be twelve market days in total, finishing on the 27th of August. After that, they're hoping to move to a permanent location in Hackney.
