    If you want a capable bike that's more lols orientated than a lycra XC mile muncher I'd look at some of the 27.5 frames like the Stanton Switchback paired with some RS Revelations or Pikes...but only Pikes if you intend to do crazy shit.

    That said my 29er F-Si is a riot until it gets real steep or real rocky.

    People in the MTB thread will have other suggestions I'm sure.

    Dunno. I have the slackline and it's interesting doing really technical climbs because wheelbase, 160mm travel and 2.4" rubber. But I put that down to my lack of skill.

    A fork that you can drop by 30mm travel or so when you hit something going up is helpful.
