Nice, how's that frame working out?

Really well thanks - got it built up fixed at the moment.
I've been enjoying Max's beans, so to speak. Jonathan at Repack in bath has one of his one fairly frequently.
I'll be swinging by yours on Saturday so I may well say hello.

Apparently the paint can still be attracted to the metal that's beneath the filler and will form a monolithic bond when it's cooked up.
So my internet research indicates. -

Porlex Mini owners: Decathlon do a £3.50 climbers chalk bag which makes a reasonably decent carry bag for the grinder for travel use.

For Elecric Cofee Co? How much are their bags? I always find pact pretty tasty, and solid and reliable service tbf

No it's a La San Marco, if I ever scored a Marzocco lever machine I'd probably be able to retire.
Speaking of which, I'm going freelance; I'll still be roasting for Bella Barista but part-time on a contractor basis so I'll have 2 or 3 days a week to do other stuff if anyone needs me. I'll be setting up a cafe/roastery/restaurant in Northamptonshire. The ball is rolling but jesus wept it's hard work.

Nice one, I'll take it to the powder-coaters in full confidence that they wont roll their eyes at me (they will probably roll their eyes at me).

Ha, leaning on the everlasting safe arms of internet info and anonymity.

Ordered a few bags from Electric last night, fingers crossed they arrive before the weekend. Used a referral link somewhere a few pages back so someone got some points (hopefully)

What did you order? The Brazilian stuff is very tasty and I remain upset that there is no Mexican coffee left.

A blend, Bolivian and Ethiopian Yirgacheffe. I was on mobile and found the site pretty hard to navigate. Being presented with long list of countries isnt super useful when you don't have time to click through every single option.
I'll try the Brazilian once I've got through this order.

Yeah. The website leaves much to be desired but the desktop version is a bit better.
I'm went for the Papua New Guinea this time - just to wean myself away from all Central/South American coffee all the time. But I did get more Brazilian, just in case.

I managed to smash the glass jar for my Hario Skerton grinder so i bought an entirely new one.
My grinder is still relatively new, so wondered if anyone wants to replace their grinder part by taking the completely new and unused grinder and handle from me? £12 posted seems fair.
Let me know.

Not an offer. Just @Tenderloin 's referral link.

I had a quick look, and I'm not sure I want to sign up for six months. I don't drink that much coffee to be tied in for that long. Like Pact's model where I can put off a new delivery for six weeks/two months if I haven't finished drinking what I've already got.
Might just pop into their cafe and buy some beans one weekend...
also @Tenderloin how does that referral code work? Does it take money off at the end?

I just bought one of these too. It's a strangely beautiful object.
Cheque is in the post......
