Crosses it off list.
What hub were you using @I_am_Hingis ?
-
• #1781
Does it absolutely have to be centre lock?
I have this on my PX with SRAM 11 speed road cassette.

Thing is, there's two freehub bodies for it:
The one the idiot sent:

"According to French traffic law, a high visibility vest MUST be worn when riding at night (safety standard number EN 1150 or EN 471)."
From PBP website.
-
• #1790
Yeah, so what complies with that?
You must have done some research for PBP and found something semi decent! -
• #1791
Oh, nah, I just wore the one they gave out! :)
Any decent high-viz would work even if not technically 'da law'. I did do some research but it was hard to find anything that mentioned the standard.
I just googled... and then picked out any cycling ones.

TCR facebook group should really move to google groups, so it's searchable.
Ok. Will just find anything yellow and with some hi viz tape on.
Thanks!

The full reflect thing? Be like riding in a bin bag no?
I either get something that gets binned after france (likey)
Or get something actually semi usable. The sportful no rain streach thing was really good last year, in the wind and things. Practical.
This might be decent http://www.wiggle.co.uk/sportful-reflex-2-jacket/
or this; http://www.prendas.co.uk/craft-active-safety-hi-viz-gilet-vest.html

Keep it for Italy - same law there.

I've got the reflex vest. Would be nice if it had venting/mesh on the back or some way to access jersey pockets. Does have a nice big zipper and rolls up to the size of a redbull can, can't complain too much for <£20
Might give the craft a try though. All the mesh!
-
• #1798
Didn't realise that.
Thanks @andy_k think I'll get a reflex. Liked the sportful top I had before.

• #1799
Loose some weight or get fat. Or a tailor to take it in.

I was planning to ignore the hi-viz thing, but I hear something about Mike asking people to follow French rules? If I have to then I'll have something I can toss as soon as possible. I like the lightweight mesh-backed gilet I already have!
I've got a spare set of cantis you can have
;-)
