Did my first proper 25 today, in steady/intermittently heavy rain, on J2/9 in Cheshire, with plenty of standing water masking its numerous ruts and potholes.
Wussing out on my first evening 10 (K37/10P) for a few years due to forecasted heavy rain tomorrow night. Riding on dual carriageways in heavy rain seems a bit risky, or should I HTFU ?

It's more risky than riding in the dry, how much more depends a lot on how the surface reacts to rain - some are worse than others for generating a lot of spray. As @hippy says, it's only a 10, there will be loads of other opportunities.

Did 00:57:10 on 97" fixed.
Much preferred the rhythm of a 25 to flat-out 10 pace. Looking forward to giving the same course a crack on a dry day! Javelin visor wiping every km was a PITA.
