  • OLD doesn't really matter I don't think since once the skewer is on, they're pulled in or pushed apart to the correct width anyway Shirley

    True, but it could help identify if the problem is with the wheel or possibly the frame.

  • doesn't seem to be with the frame, the amount the nut protrudes from the cassette is VERY small, it just seems wayyyy close for comfort when the other wheelsets I've seen (although they were shimano/sram) seem to have much better clearance. will update with pictures in a bit, our only thoughts were to use a washer of some sort to add a bit of clearance but id rather fix it properly if I can!

    Edit: btw its my bike @PhilDAS was talking about.

  • You need to measure the OLD of the hub (easier said than done).

    This will confirm if the hub is coming up short and if so, by how much (which you'll need to know to correct it).

    You could also check the Campag tech docs for an exploded view.
