It was a big evening at the club championships tonight. After the 400 A and B races, the 400 a won in 51.8, it was time for the 3000.
In the worlds shortest shorts was @PhilPub, accompanied by your correspondent. 7.5 laps later the pain was over. @philpub narrowly beaten on the line, possibly due to checking his watch 4 metres too early, nevertheless 9.27.9 is a tidy outing for a v.... sneaking over the line thanks to a valiant finishing sprint i ran 9.24.3.
