I had one a couple of years ago, bought for me. They're nothing special, and overly expensive for what you get. You're better off lurking around the classifieds here and going and trying bikes which are your size.

or buy a plug charge or similar. or spend your money on hookers & blow. bikes are shit anyway.

You want to buy a fucking bike? Can't you afford a car?
-
• #3930
The "lurking around the classifieds" is good advice.

The man just wants someone to lay one out for him. Be nice.

Keep hands out pockets though.

Ha!
I don't think anyone's ever pulled their pud over a Foffa bike.
-

Lurking around the classifieds is not for me since I'm out of UK.
Still, I would like to read some constructive comments of foffa, so bring it on. -

Right:
1) They're not very well made.
2) They're not very well put together.
3) They're not very well priced.
4) Their customer service has been known to be a little shonky. -

If youre after a quick buy out of a shop, for not alot, get a Fuji Feather or a Charge Plug 0.
...In fact just get a Specialized Langster.

I received a book as a gift for Christmas a few years ago, it is called 'The Bicycle Artisans', or something along those cliched lines.
As I had just unwrapped it, I was fairly excited to open the book and see what was inside, and who these so called artisANAL bike smiths were.
Low and behold, the first page I opened it to was Foffa Bikes. The agony as I had to hide my ungrateful contempt at seeing Foffa in this book I had just opened.
I think I played it off well though.
I still have the book, it keeps my rare skate stickers all neat and pressed. -

Hi guys,
I'm thinking of buying a Foffa bike, which one do you recommend? I heard they do custom bikes?
Thanks

You'll struggle for serious replies, because Foffa have used stooges in the form of naïve, potential purchasers before.
Unfortunately for you, assuming you're genuine, your guileless enquiry and earnest replies to obvious piss-taking, fits this pattern. Not to mention the fact that you chose to ask here, rather than places less obviously hostile to the brand.
If you're unable to harness the power of the internet, to find a better bike for less money than a Foffa, then you probably deserve one.

@Scilly.Suffolk I don't know why I even bothered asking question since by asking one I'm considered an enemy in most of replies. For what its worth I think hostile place is good for honest asnwers.
Anyway consider yourself successful, because this thread gave me enough doubts to not buy foffa bike.

People on here think its cool to be sarcastic. Foffas are considered the creme de la creme, they're the gold standard of fixie bikes, and it's a laugh to pretent they're shit. It's a bit like all those jokes people make about not believing in God, or not showing loyalty to the Queen.
