I think they've misunderstood the inaccurate comment between theirs. :)

That should read 'wrong forum' and the thread should simply be moved to the correct forum.

@Velocio @hippy I had a message from @ncbuk88 who was interested in buying a bike from me. From his user profile, I would guess he only joined to send me a message about the bike. I have messaged him back, but suspect he may not have logged in again to see the message. Is there anyway to notify him to his email address that he received a message from me (as there used to be on the old forum)?

I'll change the defaults, he was indeed not notified by email.

I'll ping him and let him know.

I've also changed the defaults... new members will be emailed by default.

Though that change... it will be interesting to see next month's email bill compared to this month.

For the record, I've just paid (today) $77.58 for 47,172 emails in the last calendar month.

Would not be surprised to see a 5% increase next month, and each month thereafter until we stabilise at a number several times higher than the existing bill. I'll investigate using a different email provider in a few months time.
