Cheers, fork definitely looks longer then 395 A-C in the pics. I'd like my build to steer as a road bike (but also clearances for at least 35c and mudguards), and the head angle is going to depend a lot on the fork length, I guess.

that head angle is a bit on the steep side, as I'm not that keen on 71 deg sluggish steering cx bikes
