The forces that a frame pump can exert are nothing compared to what x kg of human sitting on top of the bike leads to when wrenching bars to climb a hill or set off from the lights, or when you hit a pothole in the road, etc.

could a frame pump damage a frame? I've bought a zefal hxp and the pressure it exerts is quite a lot when compressed to fit under my tt. Might this damage the frame, or am I just being unnecessarily cautious?
