Cheers, will look that one up. That sort of budget too...
Audio wise, send from the projector to my stereo via Airplay, although I guess if I play from a Laptop I wont actually need that....

Optoma were definitely the recommended 'budget' brand when I was looking but you know how technology moves... For what it's worth, the bulb in mine is now saying it's run out but I haven't noticed a change in brightness (if the has been one) and that's been four years of heavy use.
For audio I'm not sure, we use HDMI into a receiver and wired speakers - you might get sync issues but I don't see why you couldn't airplay the audio directly from the laptop. I suspect most projectors with airplay would be for receiving rather than sending stuff.

Send audio from what to what? Built-in projector speakers tend to be a bit of a token effort at best...
I've been pretty happy with the Optoma HD600X-LV I got four years ago for £380 (3000:1 contrast ratio, 2500 ANSI, 720p) but for the money you can get 1080p and probably better brightness/contrast now.
