There is no BB on earth that would have a tool small enough to fit INSIDE the lock ring
I have a Stronglight BB right here in front of me which uses exactly that tool.

Yeah, but it won't fit my wheel because the thru-axle takes up the space where the tool goes!
Hence me needing a different lockring, which I have ordered, which renders this whole conversation pointless. But I'm tired and not interested in actual work yet so we can go on and on in circles if you'd like, you know I'm good for it.

There is, because the lockring I have uses a cassette tool, not a BB tool. There is no BB on earth that would have a tool small enough to fit INSIDE the lock ring.
