No, I need a lockring for a thru-axle hub
To be fair to Ed, your first question was "What tool do I need?", to which he gave the correct answer.
It's really for the hub manufacturer to supply the appropriate lock ring, as you re-use it when you replace your rotors so it has no business being packaged with the consumable part.

Well he's still wrong because the BB tool wouldn't fit the QR version lock ring I have.
Also, my second post answered my question 2hrs before his response. Thanks for playing but the jackpot rolls over for another week.Shutter Precision need to sort their lock ring supplies out. Too late for me to hassle them about it, I've found a 6-bolt converter that includes lockring for less £ than just the lockring I need. Stupid fucking disc brakes.
No, I need a lockring for a thru-axle hub. Why they don't include one with 160mm MTB rotors that are quite likely to be used on thru-axle hubs, I don't know.
