Depends a bit on the rim width, but @umop3pisdn 's starting suggestion sounds reasonable, and on the right rims you could probably go down to 35f/42r without any trouble. The best answer is to try it and see what you like, as personal preference is part of the equation.

Try this calculator should give you some idea.
Something like 35 psi looks good depending on your weight etc.

been riding 60 just now but they're pretty hard. how low can I go without it being sloppy...
