    Is that safe?

    I was always told you should never wear steel toed work boots on a bike.

    The logic being, the soles aren't stiff enough to prevent the hard steel cap from bending back and at best damaging the top of your foot / at worst cutting your toes off.

  • That what I was told. But letsthink about it which bike boots have covers for the toes? Proper EU speced steel toe cap boots should not deform with less that 15,000 newtons and 200 joules pointimpact that. What does that equate to being run over?
