Snapped lower suspension arm on my 2006 Forester Xt today! Was pulling really badly to the right when braking and I noticed the steering was off center..... Think I made it to work and no more! Car being recovered to Subaru tomorrow to have the front arms replaced under warranty, they should have been checked under a recall but the previous owner didn't have it done.

Scary.

That's proper rotten! Found that some Japanese cars just rot in the weirdest places. Guess they might do some other parts too as realistically they can't send you back out with rotten ends etc?

Seems like they have actually ripped the wheel off it driving it into the garage. It was trailered there!

So going to be getting a new front wing too!

I'd imagine I'll get new ball joints and drop links, maybe steering ends too.

Seems like I was moments away from a big crash with it failing.
