  • Dura ace cranks

Looking for a chainset for my commuter bike (Charge Plug Zero). It has 68mm width square taper BSA bb, 135 OLD.

Would like advice on what crank will work with this bike, e.g. Dura Ace 7410, 7700, 7701? I think these are road double cranks but as it appears both chain rings fix to the same bolt holes, I'm guessing it will work with just one chain ring? Seem lots cheaper on ebay than the track specific cranks - not looking to spend £hundreds.

I don't mind replacing the bottom bracket, just don't know what will work; is it just a matter of getting the right bb then can use any crank?

It is SS at the moment, will likely convert to fixed at some point.

Apologies for dumb questions; I've only ever had gears bikes until recently.

    Many thanks

  • It is definitely 135mm OLD. I also assumed that it would be 120 and bought some hubs... And found that it was 135. I think Charge use the same frame for a geared bike, or did at one point.

Edit: pm about the 7410, could be interested; looking for 170mm - 175mm.
