Just bought a Kilchoman Machir Bay for a holiday treat. I had a great conversation with a shop assistant at The Whisky Exchange just off the Strand who convinced me it was the one to go for. Lagavulin 16, Ardbeg Uigeadail, and Compass Box Peat Monster have been my whiskies of choice for quite a while. Loved the sound of Kilchoman's relatively small-scale set up. Anyone tried it?
