UUUUUUber dredge but since this was the only thread I could find that discussed the basil memories rack I thought it was the most appropriate to post in.
I just bought a basil rack yesterday with the idea of fitting it on the SSMTB utility bike I'm currently building. I assembled it according to the instructions but even on the lowest possible height setting the bar mounts are way too high. In the first post it looks as though the OP has mounted the bar mounts upside down, assuming that I could manage to get the basil to fit that way, would it be safe? Anyone have any experience fitting a basil memories rack that way?
