Steve I taking inspiration vfom Nic B.
Though might go back to camelbak given xav saying he lost his bottles.
-
• #13228
If Xav tested gloves faster why are so many people still riding bare hands?
I'd miss my handy snot rag.

Is that the full 'trip' ensemble?
That'll get me 20min... gets credit card out

• #13231
Top wanker yes.
Socks and skinsuit.
Fashionista shoes too.
-
• #13232
Would.

• #13233
I'd run me over too. Abomination to manliness with those fucking stockings.
-
• #13234
I've got tanlines from those bloody stockings.

Bugger off and go do the Nationals, it's a faster course anyway, with my qualifying time I'm on a hope and prayer of getting a start - my better halves birthday and an understandable veto meant I did 4 hours on the turbo yesterday to fit with my plan of doing the 100!
-
• #13236
Don't think it will be.
e2/100 is now all on the A11. Going to be rapid.
Hope you get in!@umop3pisdn yeah, me too a little. Cringe.

• #13238
Yeah we have but only in client sessions, nothing public. We've had people get a custom CFD suit with a camelbak pocket built in as well, that's something that NoPinz can do

12sec in it at the finish, was close but it's much better to negative split from a mental and recovery point of view too. That was a bit too much though, second half 15w higher than the first or something, but it was her first 100.

Steve asked and the guy said it was the result of putting all the non DNS numbers into a hat and pulling them out, how weird to say that when it's obviously not the case, nor would anyone complain either.
In championship events it's explicit that it's top riders (eg 3 from the top 5) plus a few randoms, and that's of course totally fine.

12 seconds, that's close!!
Fun when a long race comes down to seconds. -

Fun when a long race comes down to seconds.
Only if you're the one winning.

Fair enough.
I'm not sure I want to go for a custom suit until I've tested a bodged setup first :)

In my first tt I beat a guy over 25 miles by 1 second.
Very glad I had aero skewers. -

Entered the F11 on the 18th of June - might as well have a crack at fast 10. Not gonna bother with the ECCA 100, too far and too early. All my eggs in the BDCA basket.

It's less than half a watt! Better to be on the right side of it when it's that close otherwise it's agonising, ha

@xavierdisley - I see the new Aerocoach saddles are officially available for pre-order. Are they intended to be used so that you sit on the nose of the saddle, or that you sit bones go in the depression at the back of the saddle? Trying to work out if one might suit my position/backside.
-
• #13248
Sit on the front for aero position, but you can shift backwards if you're climbing (sat up) or using it on the road bike etc. It's 5mm narrower than an Adamo Attack at the front too

Ultan and I were separated in the 2013 Nat 24 by 4min for >23 hours. It was only after selling my soul to the devil in the final few laps I pulled out a gap above 5-6min.
Losing 12hr by 800yds, made worse by the fact I'd hit all the red lights and done a U-turn on the finish circuit when the gf handed up a chocolate bar that confused me. Never likely to forget either of those races..

Is it faster than E2/10?
Not sure if front or back would be more or less aero. Front for me might be a problem and on the back it could help or hinder aeros but I'd have to test it. Have you done any testing on this kind of setup @xavierdisley ?
