    But isn't there a specific (and expensive) tool for that purpose?
    I changed a Brompton frame due to a crack, not hinge problem, was a 20 y.o. frame, and I remember how financially painful that was...
    If too risky because lack of precision tool / machine to do this in standard workshop, Brompton should offer a factory service to save the frame, what happened to saving the planet ffs?

  • Brompton have a 'hire a reamer' scheme. Big deposit but you get it back.
    Ben at Kinetics is part of the scheme though he's no longer a dealer.
