  • So this arrived this morning <3

Took it out for a little spin around the block and it is a wonder. Really impressed by how light it is, it's lighter than my carbon disc braked road bike which is a nice surprise.

Only a few changes for now - black gp4000s & some black bar tape. As it'll be traveling I'm going to keep this a cheap build for the time being.

  • Nice slippers!

  • Thanks :) Calf skin outer, sheep skin inner. Changed my life.

  • super jealous of this!

White bar tape, black tyres imo.

  • Plain cushions, stain the pine imo

  • Great bike!

  • This thing is so much fun to ride! Much much more exciting than my carbon disc braked etc etc giant defy, and it actually weighs less too

Also - I put on 23mm tyres onto skinny rimmed open pros (SHOCK HORROR) with much trepidation, fearing that it would feel like I was just riding on the rims, loads of rolling resistance, fatigue after the first 5 minutes... turns out that they ride just fine like they always have...

  • Watching that logic ..hmm tempting

  • 53cm - Bit small no?

  • We've never met have we Matty.

  • Bargain! Good buy, what size is that? I really rate that age 10 speed shimano stuff, dont change if you dont need to.

  • Ha! True, but I'd noticed that we were often after the same frames in the classifieds... If it were a 56 I'd also be tempted!

  • Dangerously close to pulling the trigger on a Swiss Cross canti...

  • dont do it for anything other than cross IMO .. mini-v are great BUT they require attention

  • Thoughts are to use it as a cross, commute, touring (saddle bags, bar bag, etc) type thing.

Setup would be Rival 1 groupset, Avid Shorty Ultimates, other misc. components, then use my Zipp 60s clinchers and/or CK R45 x 38mm by 25mm tubulars.

I have a bunch of components following my crash that just haven't got a place...

  • Somebody got a nice frame for a good price, went for 410. Anybody on here snaffle it?

  • Water collects in my Road Logic frame. Where is it getting in?

  • Bb and rear end breathing holes . Over winter take the seatpin out and get air in their to dry it out

  • saw that... still got a reserve on though....

  • Yeah. Reading the info he's quoting the postage as having insurance between 500-1000, so guess his reserve will be maybe at the upper end of that scale.

  • Went for 675, thought it would go higher than that. Bargain for someone.

  • Had my first trip away with the breakaway last week and it was sublime - 5 days riding in the alps north of Nice.

It rides beautifully, climbs like a dream and descends great.
