    My poxy little short ribs will be going in the oven overnight in a couple of hours, just bringing them back up to room temp now... I have no idea what the father-in-law is doing with his brisket and ribs, I'm sure he's gonna do his usual thing and chuck them in the smoker an hour before it's time to eat... Tsk...

    Enjoy your bbq too. Smoke the ribs and then transfer to the oven - its what a lot of competition smokers do these days.
