Yes. Like our three axle coach driver down the Agnel had balls.

Yeah, he took an 80kph sticky bottle to cheat, he saw Froome's mechanical and buggered off up the road. Just don't like his way.
Also, I seem to recall the first thing he said in the interview when accused of seeing Froome break down was 'I didn't see him, it's his word against mine'. Slimy git.

Wada . Usada whoever at the finish then ?

I was hoping Kruijswijk would claw himself back on rage and grit but he looks too hurt. Hopefully he'll recover and be able to fight again tomorrow

So I missed Kruiswijk's crash and bike change. Did he have to wait ages for a team car to turn up? Any idea why?

I'd imagine being the 'nice' guy overall (obviously not so nice when the race number is on) is good for a pro cyclist. With all of his wins will he gain any fans by riding/acting like that? He is also 'emotional' on camera by winning a stage due to someone else's bad luck .. how is that different to being in a doped uneven playing field? I just dont get Nibali or his fans or the people who say 'no matter what you think about him he is a great racer'. Where do you draw the line?
-
• #384
I don't think he was waiting long, but he spent the rest of the stage without any help, and his landing looked like it must have hurt a fair bit.
-
• #385
Because mountains?
Looked like he rode off first to then realize few km after that his bike wasn't really ok, weird because he had a team car behind him at the moment of the crash. -
• #386
Not sure if it's just me but I find it a little strange that Nibali has been so public about having "tests" (I presume some of them involving drawing blood) done to see if he can find the underlying problem as to why he hasn't been on top form this Giro. The day after the tests say he is all clear, suddenly he finds amazing form puts time into Chaves and out climbs everyone on the highest climb of the race. Hmmmmm anyone else think that is more than a little fishy?

• #387
It was a neutral service car behind him
-
• #388
No not all, he finally got used to his longer cranks
-
• #389
So where was his team car? Surely they'd have one right behind the group containing their bloody GC hope and pink jersey wearer?
-
• #390
Think that was a neutral car.
Yeah Nibs may be a cunt, but chapeau to him today. His form's not been great, but he battled the fuck out of today. Sets us up for a hell of a stage tomorrow. -
• #391
LOLZ
-
• #392
Yep - I'm no Nibali fan but today he was great.
And they were descending and Kruijkwijk couldn't corner properly, that's his problem. It's been pressaged all Giro, and interesting to see it play out

Kruijswijk paid the price for the weakness of his team today. When he needed them they were nowhere to be seen.
It'll be interesting to see if Chaves is as easily isolated tomorrow.

• #395
At least Valverde won't be getting another fucking podium.
-
• #396
I spoke WAY too soon.
Real shame for him. -
• #397
the man himself: "I fucked up. A stupid mistake. It hurt so bad"
-
• #399
What a shame!
I had to go to the physio so missed it. Sounds like I missed a great finish and sad moments for kruijswijk.

Come on you know his style, he'll turn up on Monday and respond to each post individually.
I just don't like him at all, balls or no. I find the sleaze of his racing style overwhelms the excitement it creates.
