That is a pretty thing.

First we had the Submariner, then we had the SubC. First we had the Daytona, now we have the Daisy.

Damn fine!

So, when it's really quiet and I'm very still, I can feel a vibration. 3 seconds on 3 seconds off. Is that normal? Does that mean it's time for a service? Very very subtle but it's definitely there. Which part is that? Is it an unwinding of a spring or such?

Have you seen a doctor?

What're those two on the right? I'm not up on my Seiko divers, but they both look absolutely killer.

Incidentally - sanded down the black coating on my new beater. I'm not quite down to the brass case yet but I'm not far off. Looks a lot better I think.

7549-7009 and 7010 aka tunas. So called because of their... distinctive profile. And, incidentally, the most toolest of tool watches.

So so cool

• #19292
Look like Tunas I think. They're pretty substantial
-
• #19293
They are tall but they belie their relative bulk with a short lug to lug to lug measurement, as such they wear very comfortably. The 1000m is particularly wearable made as it is from TiN coated titanium and ceramics.

I have a Tuna high up on my buying list but I can never decide which one to get! Any suggestions?

You can't go wrong really. The 300m is slightly more conventional looking, the 1000m a bit more out there, especially in TiN (gold). I'm not mad on them on a bracelet personally but many get on well with them particularly the shark mesh type (not my pic).

The ceramic bezel and big acrylic really sets it off.

I needed to scratch the Blancpain itch. There was no way that I was every going to buy a fiddy. It was either a Skindiver or a Fifty-Five Fathoms.
very nice
