I don't think they do, maybe they teach them how to cross without looking away from their phones as that seems to be the way I see people crossing these days.
Smacked a phone out of someones hand the other week as they walked right into me and I was going a fair bit. -

Naive question: do they still have the Green Cross Code in school? Seems a bit sad that they need to be teaching this sort of stuff at uni level now.
Also, anyone going fast while filtering is as much to blame for any mishaps as someone coming into their path.
