I was only asking question about being outraged all the time and then posting things thing that would outrage you at another time but then not ....oh it doesn't matter. I'll just remember not to stray too far from the safe places again.

Chairman Daniel Levy was paid a total package of £2.61m in 2014-15, the highest paid director in the Premier League; the package is understood to include bonuses for achieving targets.
Highest-paid director Ivan Gazidis £2.29m
At least general levy finished ahead of them..

Everton manager update from my usually very reliable source
It's down to just 3:
Koeman
De Boer
GiggsYep, Moshiri really wants to interview him apparently?! 😕🤔
-
• #128614
All rumours are that Koeman will stay at saints for at least one more season, then aim for a champions league job.
-
• #128615
He'll be on Arsenal's wish list when Wenger goes at the end of next season.
-
• #128616
Yep, that's apparently target #2 for him, Barca being his dream job.
-
• #128617
know Barca have gone for previously untrophied managers, who have a solid, long term connection to Barca: Guardiola, Villanova, Enrique, but Messi/Iniesta/Pique aren't getting any younger, so wonder whether Koeman needs to win something before he moves into the reckoning? Or is it enough to be consistent in the Prem League and reinvigorate his teams every season..
-
• #128618
Yes, I see your point. I suspect that Barca is two jobs away for him. He hasn't tended to stay at one club for long, so could see him doing one more year at Saints, then a few years a champions league club which has a shot at trophies, then onto Barca. The curveball for him would be the Holland job, which I reckon he would struggle to turn down.
-
• #128619
If de boer takes the Everton job, and does well, I'd see him being given first shot at the Holland job.
Like koeman and there's nothing wrong with ambition, but I think managers need to sit at a club (if they can) for a couple of years and build something, otherwise you become an itinerant manager, Mourinho but without the trophies.
-
• #128620
Agreed. given how well he is doing I would be happy for him to stay and Saints for a good few years yet, but can't see unless we manage to improve our position again next year, but can't see that either.
-
• #128621
Are you in the Europa league next season?
I can see you giving that a decent go, and as long as you don't haemorrhage players again this off season (know we're sniffing around wanyama, and I'm not sure how long mane will be around for) think koeman should stick around, imagine it's the fact you never get a settled squad to improve which irks the most.. -
• #128622
He's been linked with them for ages. He'll most likely end up being their next coach.
-
• #128623
Yep, straight into the group stages this year, so that will help.
Yep, likely to lose Wanyama as he only has a year left on his contract so think he will go for around £15m, looks like we are willing to let Pelle go for £10m (not sure why I like him, and his hair...). Mane will probably go but only for a £25m plus offer, and think he is a risk for any club, he blows hot and cold at time.
Koeman has already said he will only sign a new contract if we match his ambition, which I take as not selling all our best players again, we have tied down a few big ones recently (Van Dijk, Forster) so that should help.

• #128624
If Giggs gets the gig then I'm sticking a tenner on them getting relegated
-
• #128625
What do you mean 'if'
Nailed on, slam dunk, jobs his.
Just waiting on Phil to confirm director of football roll before they go public.
Now that the unnecessary side issue of football is done we can get down to the important stuff
