  • Historically tainted .

  • 10 years to the day that Spanish police raided Fuentes apartment...

  • General question;
What would be a typical gear ratio and cadence for a pro when doing the straight and level stretches? (I.e. not sprinting, climbing, descending etc.)

  • 53 x 14 or 15 I'd say, 45kmh at around 95-100rpm

  • Most of the peloton is on 53/39 chainrings and 11-28 cassette. Obviously it depends on wind and the group and how the workload is being shared out, but let's say they are around mid-block in a 16t sprocket. Cadence is rider dependent but probably anywhere from 90 up to 120. In 53x16 at 100rpm gives you 26mph.

  • what a finish - very steve cummingsesque, just riding away from everyone.

  • Not enough sprinters left in, so only 2 or 3 teams had worked to bring the break back, leaving them short of numbers when in came to setting up the sprint.

Kluge timed that to perfection though, and was very, very strong.

  • Agony and the ecstasy for IAM Cycling...

  • I should be safe at the top of the Fantasy league for a couple more days.

  • How many hayman images will it take to offset this @hippy ?

  • Best publicity ever. OGE's bus is more famous than Sky's.. again.

  • Do Sky have any riders in the Giro?

  • They've won as many stages as OGE...

  • And yet, I'd forgotten about it.

    Some impression they've left.

Sky Vacuum™ coming to a race near you!

  • Anyway Chaves is the new king of the road. Smiley little loveable bastard.

If we could just get Hansen we'd have the coolest team that ever rode the face of the planet.

  • Expat Aussie code monkey thinks other Expat Aussie code monkey is cool

  • How many hayman images will it take to offset this @hippy ?

That bus is called hippy? No wonder it's so fat.

  • hippy's more of a coding King Kong, though.

  • Trentin mugged Moser there.

  • is that the first time ettix have successfully been able to use numbers to their advantage?

  • Corker.

  • In this race? This year? Or ever?

  • Kluge like Gaviria is a rider i didn't know at all til i watched them at Lea Valley. Both were fucking impressive and now i like to see them do well on the road.

  • It makes you wonder just how much nibs was charged up to win the tour judging by his current form and in hindsight what or where would landa be now seeing as his team are nigh invisible apart from that one win .

  • Majka nowhere too.
