I probably should have pointed out that I have plenty of blacked stainless M6×16 Torx countersunk, I can't remember whether they are A2 or A4, and it doesn't matter in this instance. Is it too late to cancel your ebay order? :-)
Can I have a few of them?

Do they have the recalled hubs?
-
• #12955
No - they are the next generation hub - which I was greatly relieved to discover when I checked them!

Watching the TOC, there are a lot of riders not even using clip on bars. I would understand not having a TT bike, but not even clip ons seems weird.

have finally found instructions on how to mount the extension under the bars on my Felt, big question is do I do it before tomorrows 10 and see what happens or do it after the weekend and train on it a bit first!
i think i know the answer!

After, don't be silly.

Test it in the 10, revert to the old position for the 25 on Sunday if it doesn't work :-)

He's got some serious speed. Smashed the local 10 near me the week before in the wet - course record and had to haul on the brakes to avoid some dafty cutting him up iirc

That was King's Cliffe right?
He's a huge talent and incredibly hard working, just 22 years old too. A bright future beckons for him.
-
• #12963
Yeah! Didn't realise he was so young. Going to be a monster on the national scene unless he blows up early.

Reminds me of Mullen. Must be the green.

did the business ;)

Yeah I think so.
19:22. Proper headwind to the turn.
Buried myself in the last mile to try get under 19:20. But alas no. -
• #12968
Congrats. I was secretly glad it was windy because I couldn't ride.

• #12969
ha! Hope the ribs heal up, remember bruising mine. Was painful!

Well done Skinny!

nice, more than 15 seconds :)
i p*nctured as i set off from the car, queue mad dash to fix and get to the start line but missed my spot by just over a minute got to the start line and they just said go, not an ideal start!
then followed a shit ride where i kept struggling and only really got into a rhythm in the last 3 miles, by which time it was too late and
finished with 22:03 according to the board, but guess i'll get a late start penalty, did explain myself to the organiser more as an apology than anything else!
just hope tomorrow is better!

Time trialist worst nightmare! Sucks.
Hope tomorrow goes smoother!

Thanks @mdcc_tester for the shout about campag monoplaner. Fitted one to the front, actually really good brake too, work well with the tulas.
Only issue is the rear wont fit, as the brake shoe touches the frame. Might hacksaw down a shoe, but didn't have time yet. -

Also I found my moon comet, but cannot find the saddle bracket. They seem to be out of stock online, anyone got a spare, or seen them for sale?
Edit: Apparently high on bikes have stock!? (we'll see)
I think he's now a private member of ECCA. Maldon & District CC that he's associated with isn't it?
