There's two ways to do it.
- Don't go in the bike lane and turn right like you used to
- Go in the bike lane up to Parliament Sq. Stay in the left-hand lane marked with a ↑. On green you then cross the square onto the pavement (stay with me here) where to your right (i.e. looking down Whitehall) you'll see a cycle traffic light. This then holds you for another phase (fun!) until it thinks that you're safe to be released.

Don't understand the new system once you cross Westminster bridge if you are turning right to go down Parliament Street. Felt weird.
