That's what I was thinking?! Throw Delph and Townsend in there too and how the fuck did Wilshire get a place, he's not kicked a ball for a year?!

• #128179
Tough on Defoe too

Small matter of a few finals and some play off games and that's it.
NBA is a good this post season mind. GSW are looking very strong.

• #128181
I was thinking along the same lines. A very weak midfield

It stops at 10pm Wednesday

United to win 19-0 on Tuesday. it's been that kind of a season.
Seriously, now the season is over just want to add a final chapeau to Leicester. They have made this the most interesting season for a hell of a long time.
-
• #128184
They lose 3 from that for the final squad don't they? I would prefer Jack to sit out the Euros, he needs to spend the summer working on his fitness. Also be interesting to see how the Leicester boys fare with a month away from the clubs fitness regime.

• #128185
I wonder if the odds of a 19-0 score line are as long as Leicester to win the league back at the start?
-
• #128186
Hodgson wont take Walcott because he "has not had regular games". Names Wilshere.
Neither should go. -
• #128187
Wilshere - what could possibly go wrong?
I'd generally NEVER sing his praises, but why isn't Defoe on that list?

• #128188
I'm not sure about playing Lallana in midfield if that's where you're positioning him, and also think Alli is currently better at playing further forward.
I'd probably go for...
Fraser Forster
Nathaniel Clyne, John Stones, Gary Cahill, Danny Rose
Danny Drinkwater, Eric Dier, Ross Barkley
Jamie Vardy, Harry Kane, Raheem Sterling
my only issue is whether Sterling is fit enough, and in good enough form, and whether you can play Kane and Vardy up front together. Probably don't have enough width or pace, but Dier and Drinkwater give you a solid base, Barkley gets you some creativity in there and Kane and Vardy should give you variation and goals... But I'd have no issue with swapping out Sterling for someone else...

Just as well you're not manager then!? Fuck me, Stones and Barkley have been wank all season...and Sterling!!? 😂😂😂😂😂😒
-
• #128191
we're going to need a ball playing center half, and Stones is better than Smalling/Cahill, otherwise how are we going to get past a bit of pressing?
I'd take a not quite in form Barkley over a returning from long term layoff Wilshire, who else are you thinking can take the creative load, Milner? Henderson? Lallana?
Looking forward to seeing your team posted up, though seeing as you never #woretheshirt, it'll probably be a long time coming.. -
• #128192
That England squad is ok, im looking forwad to the Euros, home advantage for France to win or at least mske the final, with Austria and iceland to upset a few on the way. Eidur Gudjohnsen to do a roger miller !

• #128193
I thought they were shit because they had "downed tools" as Hazard had. Notice that Hazard is now back to his best as the window shopping season begins?
I agree about Sterling, he should be nowhere near the team, nor should Wilshire. Even Sturridge is a risk. I'd far rather he was left at home to begin a speicalised pre-season program -
• #128194
Stones and Barkley may well have been wank all season, but they've been less want than the vast majority of others.
@cornelius_blackfoot - Personally I think he's a mercenary, but he does have the talent for nicking goals.

Theo hasn't been being picked as his form is down the toilet, Jack hasn't been playing because he's been recovering. I assume Hodgeson wants to asses Jack over the friendlies and get togethers and cut him if he doesn't get match fitness. I fully expect neither will go.
-
• #128196
I think you're ignoring the fact that Rooney is playing regardless
-
• #128197
I think it's daft even having Wilshere in the long list. Oh well, wouldn't be an England pre-tournament if there wasn't a will he/won't he be fit story.
Going back to Spurs - that's really funny. I haven't given much of a shit about this season because I'm getting really bored by the whole sport - money, drugs and more money, and just so much cheating too. Leicester winning is ace, obviously, but it's not like they don't have a really rich owner. Arsenal have been abject, and yet still beat Spurs. That's very funny indeed.

Sterling
Delph
Lallana
Rashford
Townsend
WilshireNone of these should be anywhere near the squad
-
• #128199
What's with the Townsend hate? Since he's been at Newcastle he's looked really good, wouldn't have a problem with him playing...
-
• #128200
I'd also go as far to say Rooney shouldn't be there but Woy has made his bed by making him captain.
Wait. Has #footballstopped?
