There's also deals to be done on new 2014/5 framesets if you look around regularly.
You'd get a full warranty with that and some token shop support - which is why it is such an amazing deal.
All things equal I'd strongly recommend going alu and have full warranty and support than try to find a used evo. The Evo just isn't that much better. But it depends what you are doing with it. Sunday best then maybe it doesn't matter so much. Crit racing...well. Another matter.
I suspect the paint choices would sway a decision somewhat, too :)

Proper whippet that. How you liking the Ralphs?

I do like how the small chainring make it look like it's a long way away due to the angle of the bike.

I've got 25c OP on my 48cm Supersix with tonnes of room to spare ¯_(ツ)_/¯

Ducking terrifying in anything but today's conditions
They need to be replaced - they are the performance line which is a bit of an insult on a £3k (retail) race bike.

You know what, ghetto tubeless on a daily commuter and two trips to Brighton and back and still not a single puncture on them.
Touch wood Lots of wood.

Even more frail, just like my riding capability.

sterling effort, speed is pretty high for a typical audax.

@BareNecessities in the recesses of my mind you were selling a little Cannondale frame. If that is correct, is it still for sells and can you point me in the direction of more info?

Think it was a 54...is that really little?!

Thought it was smaller - mind playing tricks.

Can anyone point me in the direction of a Caad10 frameset sz. 50, that doesn't cost more than the new Caad12?

oh my.

Mine is 6.3kg for a 54cm v the 56cm CAAD 12 Ultegra Disc 3 (8.34kg) or the non disc (7.5kg).
Personally, once you get below 9.5kg, it become harder to really pinpoint the difference (with same wheels, tyres and shift/brakes feel), the ride charactistic is what really stood out and that can give the illusion of weight losses/gain (like a CX bike with slow steering make it feel heavy to ride).

You've ridden up a mountain in a group, right?
And not with a group of audax beards - with a group of roadie douches with good engines
Then a couple of kg makes a shed load of difference, all other things equal
Lucky you. I cannot get 25mm GP4Ks to fit the rear of my Evo HM, had to settle with 25 front, 23 back. Front end feels much plusher now though!
