Yeah. You can argue for the home advantage, but I completely understand what you're saying.
Kenya and Jamaica top though.
I'm gonna say Ennis was clean - technical events, good facilities could give you as much of an advantage as doping.
Christine Ohugaru - dirty, most likely - she got a sanction for missed tests
Mo Farah - genetically gifted, comes from the right part of the world for distance running, but also trains with Nike/Salazar. Uncertain.
Greg Rutherford - probably clean. No one's been exceptional in the long jump for ages; he won with eight thirty something? Not exactly a huge jump. Technical event.

Well, the medal table argument is a little disingenuous - we do well because we target sports in which throwing a shit load of money at them can give us a return. Cycling's the very obvious one, but other stupid sports like sailing, rowing etc, where most of the world doesn't give a fuck are good prospects for medals. Russia loves the banner sports, like athletics. There's a lot of complaints from middle distance runners particularly about the russian athletes. Tends to be that dirty athletes don't complain about other dirty athletes so much.
